kaffny Urban, NYC’s unique annual arts event arrives Sunday, Nov. 13th, 3-9PM at Bar Basque in midtown, facing the 30′ outdoor LED screen at the Big Screen Plaza. kaffny Urban serves as a platform for local and international artists to promote their projects to new and diverse audiences in New York City. This year kaffny Urban presents an eclectic evening of film and music, hosted by DJ Spooky and featuring a tribute to Nam June Paik in collaboration with WHITE BOX as part of PERFORMA 11 Fluxus Weekend. The event is FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
Momofuku Milk Bar will provide a special treat as well as a signed copy of the new Momofuku Milk Bar cookbook for raffle. kaffny Urban is presented in association with the Big Screen Plaza, Performa 2011, White Box and Electronic Arts Intermix. Full schedule below.

Bar Basque (839 6th Ave, btwn 29/30th st, 2nd fl) offers an eclectic menu and full bar in an elegant setting with direct views of the Big Screen Plaza outdoor screen. *This is where the event is hosted and the music performances shall be held.
Big Screen Plaza: (same location, behind the building) is the outdoor plaza where the 30’ outdoor LED screen presenting the films is located.
