Celebrating our Fifth Anniversary KAFFNY, March 17-20 at Chelsea Clearview Cinemas, White Box, and the Big Screen Project in New York City, our program is more diverse than ever before.  Films from around the globe, from varied cultural viewpoints, unique panel topics, homages to the past, all genres, sneak previews(!), with a foot in the art world.

Festival Highlights include:
-Dai Sil Kim-Gibson Retrospective
-Madame Freedom (Korea, 1956) live rescore by DJ Spooky, performed by Okkyung Lee and Sean Lee.
-LA Riots 19 Years Later, discussion with Dai Sil Kim-Gibson, Mrs. Jung Hui Lee, and Charles Burnett.
-North Korea Double Feature
-Women and War Double Feature
-White Box art space screenings with live-stream to the Big Screen Project
-psychohydrography, a innovative milestone bridging the moving image and still photography, cinema and art.
-KAFFNY Talks: Filmmakers Panel.
